Outer DiceTerms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Twisted Burrito Game Studio (“TBGS”, “we”) about your use of the Outer Dice game and website (the “Game”). By installing or playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher), or have a parent or guardian’s permission. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must approve any purchase.
2. Your account
You can play offline without an account. For online play you create an account with an email address, or sign in with Google. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
3. Fair play and conduct
- Choose a display name that is not offensive, does not impersonate anyone, and does not contain personal information. We may refuse or change a name that breaks this rule.
- Do not cheat: no modified apps, bots, scripts, exploits or tools to gain an advantage, to alter dice results, or to interfere with the service or other players.
- Do not harass other players, abuse the friend or matchmaking features, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or extract the Game’s art, music or code, except where the law allows it regardless of this term.
Some opponents in online games are computer-controlled. Games forfeited or left idle for 7 days count as a loss for the player whose turn it was.
4. Purchases and ads
- The Game is free to play and shows ads unless you buy Remove Ads (or the Full Game). Purchases never change the dice or the rules.
- Items such as Remove Ads, extra game slots, Unlimited Games, themes and the Full Game are one-time purchases linked to your account. They are digital content with no cash value.
- Payment, taxes and refunds are handled by the store you bought from (for example Google Play) under that store’s terms and refund policy. We may restore purchases to your account on request through the store’s purchase records.
- If a purchase is refunded or reversed by the store, we may remove the item.
- Prices may change; the price you saw when you bought is the price you paid. Discounted prices for bundles such as the Full Game depend on what you already own.
5. Our rights in the Game
The Game, including its art, music, text, code and the Outer Dice name and logo, belongs to TBGS or its licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play it on your own devices. Third-party components are used under their own licences.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Game running but cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or that games will never be lost. We may change, update, pause or end features, themes or the whole Game. If we end online service we will try to give reasonable notice.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the Game or through our delete account page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with notice where practical. Purchases are not refunded by us when an account is deleted or ended for breaking these terms.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, TBGS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights where you live.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will tell you in the Game or by email. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
